The main difference between the Air-Foam Mattress and the Auto-Leveling Mattress is whether the slope caused by the folded rear seats is completely eliminated. In all other aspects, they are identical.

The Auto-Leveling Mattress features a foam thickness of 6 inches (15 cm), and the contoured underside perfectly matches the shape of the folded rear seats, delivering a completely flat 0° sleeping surface.

The Air-Foam Mattress has a foam thickness of 4.5 inches (11 cm). It addresses the slope issue to a certain extent, but does not eliminate it entirely—there remains a slope of approximately 6–7°. However, it offers better value for money.

Both the Air-Foam Mattress and the Auto-Leveling Mattress are custom-designed specifically for the Model Y Juniper.

If you are sensitive to slopes while sleeping and want a completely flat, comfortable Tesla bed, the Auto-Leveling Mattress is the right choice for you.

If you can accept a slight angle, the more budget-friendly Air-Foam Mattress is a great option.

Yes. The Model Y Air-Foam Mattress Pro is compatible with both the Model Y legacy and the Juniper.

After the Model Y was upgraded to the Juniper version, the trunk contour and dimensions remained almost unchanged, so the mattress fits both the old and new Model Y models 100%.

Yes. The removable fitted sheet included with the mattress is machine-washable, helping you keep your mattress clean at all times.

Please note, however, that the mattress itself is not washable, as the built-in pump must be kept away from water to avoid damage. If the mattress surface accidentally gets stained, please wipe it with a damp cloth.
