Tesla Model Y Air-Foam Mattress Pro

This is hands down the best Tesla mattress I’ve tried, and I can’t imagine one being better. I test Tesla products on the regular for my YouTube channel, and after trying a regular inflatable mattress for my Model Y, I will never not use this one. Unlike my regular air mattresses, this one has memory foam, completely changing the comfort level. It truly feels like sleeping on a regular mattress rather than an inflatable one. The built-in foam structure gives it great support, which helps because I'm a side sleeper, and the ability to adjust the firmness via the built-in pump is also super convenient.

This mattress is designed specifically for the Tesla Model Y, contouring perfectly to the available space when the seats are folded down. Unlike standard rectangular air mattresses, this one maximizes the available room, giving you a much better sleeping area. It inflates and deflates quickly—under a minute—and the built-in pump is conveniently located near the Tesla’s 12V power outlet. The firmness is easily adjustable using the dial on the pump, letting you customize the feel like a Sleep Number bed.

I did a ton of research on reddit/YouTube to find the best Tesla camping mattress that's also reasonably priced and I'm so glad I came across this product. It was easy to set up with the built in pump right next to the 12V outlet. there aren't any gaps and it fit the form factor of the Model Y perfectly. And I didn't have to push up the driver/passenger seat. We used to have a 2021 Model Y and used a thick foam mattress to camp in the back and the NovaPads feels more comfortable and takes up less space (the foam mattress didn't fit in the sub trunk or frunk so we just had it sit in the trunk which took up valuable space). I was initially concerned that it would be difficult to compress and fold back down into the carrying case but if you use the pump to deflate while folding, it was pretty easy and was able to fit in both the frunk and sub trunk without much manipulation. This will also make a solid guest bed if I have a bunch of people over.

The NovaPads Foam mattress is awesome, a breakthrough foam-air combination mattress that significantly betters its competitors. The BUILT-IN pump (12 volt plug) is an amazing innovation, providing rapid inflation/deflation. The mattress is thoughtfully height adjusted for the downward slant of the Tesla interior floor. A simple knob on the pump allows easy adjustment of mattress firmness/softness. Unbelievably comfortable and a perfect fit. The mattress easily fits back into its storage bag for safe keeping in the Frunk or under part of the trunk. Simply THE essential road trip accessory for the discerning Tesla owner.

It comes with a high-quality storage bag, which was nice. While the foam adds some bulk compared to standard air mattresses, it still fits neatly in the sub-trunk of my Model Y without any issues. Plus, this mattress is versatile enough to be used outside the car—perfect for tents or even open-ground camping.

I expected to need some kind of support across the folded seats or some kind of elaborate DIY headache to make the mattress level. Did NOT need any of it. The mattress is so well designed it needs nothing. Yes, my head is slightly higher than my feet but the mattress is still flat. I can lay on my side and don’t feel any angle in my hips. In fact, I’d argue the slight elevation helped eliminate heartburn and probably is good for my snoring!

I recently tested the Tesla Model Y Juniper Air-Foam Camping Mattress, and it's been a game-changer for road trips. The fit is perfect in my Model Y, with great support from the air-foam hybrid—feels more like a real bed than an air mattress. Setup takes under a minute with the built-in pump, and it packs away compactly. Super comfortable for two, no complaints!

I received the mattress just three days after ordering—nice shipping! I noticed on their website that they have warehouses in Germany, which probably explains the quick delivery.

As for the mattress, I did a quick test fit in my Model Y Juniper yesterday. The ventilation grooves on top are a nice touch. It sleeps more like a foam mattress, not as firm as an airbed.

I came across this mattress on YouTube and decided to give it a try—turned out to be a good decision. I really like the built-in air pump design; setting up and packing away the mattress takes about a minute. Good product.

The foam lining makes it far warmer and more comfortable than a traditional air mattress, eliminating that cold, bouncy feel you get with air-only options. Despite being inflatable, it feels solid, and the extra inches at the top ensure taller sleepers (I'm 6 feet tall) can still fit comfortably. Even the top portion where my head goes seemed fully supported and didn't dip at all.

Overall for the price, I don't think you can get much better than this. There are other more expensive products such as Snuuzu but it's cost-prohibitive at $900. I definitely recommend the NovaPads if you want a super comfortable bed for a great price!

We are new at car camping, and camping in general is not my style as i like the comfort of a good mattress and a room with cool temperature. Well, I must say that this mattress is quite amazing and I am actually okay with the new concept for me and my fiancée to go car camping for the weekend.

The mattress is a bit bulkier than i thought, but, that's the price for quality sleep. It fits in the under-trunk compartment no problem with another couple of accessories. The pump connection comes within inches of the Tesla cigarette lighter in the trunk, making blowing it up a breeze. The pillow top if VERY comfortable, and even the vacuuming to fold it back works well.

Make sure you buy the fitted sheet, so you keep it clean. Between the quality of the mattress and the cool air of the "Camp Mode" of the Tesla we can sleep full nights in full comfort and pull out in the morning after breakfast.

Very impress and debating buying a second one for our other Tesla.

Well, I got out of work at 5pm, put it in the car and got in to test it out. It’s 8:20pm and I’m writing this review after falling asleep on it for two hours. It’s honestly better than my mattress at home and at 51 yrs old, my back is an expert at letting me know if a mattress is garbage. Somehow I can even be comfortable on my stomach and that’s a position I am NEVER able to sleep in. I could easily on this.
Between this and Tesla camp mode, my car is better than a hotel.
